Having spent 18 years in the traditional, belly to belly, network marketing arena, I have learned the hard way the right way to grow a business and the wrong way. I've learned that success in the business is all psychological. It's based on how people think about themselves and belief in what they are doing.
I have worked THE hardest Network Marketing business around (Amway) and achieved great success. People thought I was giving away a virus whenever I approached them. Amway was considered a bad word. Since then, the Network Marketing industry has grown tremendously. It is no longer considered to be under trial. It is a proven industry with proven successes. It is not illegal, if done correctly. So, when someone says "is this a pyramid scheme", you can honestly tell them - NO. The biggest pyramic scheme out there today is Corporate America.
And in today's economy - can anyone honestly say that their future is within Corporate America? Can anyone truly believe that the Corporate world is out to help them save up for retirement? That there is safety in their J.O.B.? Can anyone truly rely on this avenue as a means to paying their bills and preparing for their future?
I think the answer is there - all you have to do is click on the news to see what kind of shape this country and this world is in. People are scared. They have relied for so long on getting that college degree and then getting a job with a big corporation and hopefully moving themselves up thru the ranks all the while investing in the Corporate 401K so that they would have a nice retirement when they get older. Those who did invest in a 401K are all scared and scrambling as they see their life savings going down the drain - and why? Corporate greed.
So what is the answer? Do you just give up? Do you turn your head and pretend that it will all be ok?
Or do you take control of the situation? Do you reach down in your gut, wipe away the fear and do something that you can control?
This world was built on the basis of entrepreneurship. When people first came to this country, there weren't jobs. People learned a trade and went into business for themselves. When the industrial revolution came about - all that went up in smoke and people began to take a job and build someone else's dream.
It's time for people to go back to building their own dreams. To find an avenue that will allow them create their own future and not depend on someone else nor build someone else's future.
People are scared - but those that I have mentored in the past (and helped them achieve that personal success and for once in their life - freedom) will never again be willing to fall back into that trap of working for another person. They've tasted that freedom and even though it is hard work - it's worth it for them, their family and their future.
Are you willing to finally let go of the past and take control of your future?
